Kellan Lutz was out getting a little exercise at his Van Nuys home.
The "Twilight" stud went shirtless as he and a friend played a game of basketball in the warm California sunshine.

The basketball match comes as Kellan is making the most of his free time before getting into the extensive filming process for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn".

Of the plans, Lutz told E! Online, "We start sometime in October and go all the way through to late April. I just did a (wardrobe fitting) and a contact lenses test."
