Tyler Bachtel was born on February 27, 1984 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States but moved to Dublin, Ohio by the age of three. Tyler is the eldest of the three. Tyler grew up with younger sisters, Lauren and Rachel. He attended Dublin Coffman High School but spent his Senior year and graduated from Dublin Scioto High School. While in high school, Tyler played Baseball and Soccer.
He left Ohio in 2008 to pursue a modeling career and quickly landed jobs with companies like Calvin Klein, Ambercrombie and Fitch and Ed Hardy. Tyler have since become an internationally successful model. He also has worked with famous photographers like Bruce Weber, Greg Gorman and Tony Duran.
Tyler moved to LosAngeles, California at the beginning of 2009 to expand his career in acting. He finished a movie with David DeCoteau named Nightfall. He also appear as himself on the Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List on Bravo and on True Jackson, VP on Nickelodeon as a male fashion model.
