BIOGRAPHY
Francisco San Martin joins the cast of NBC's "Days of our Lives" as Dario Hernandez.
San Martin was born in Spain on the island of Mallorca. When he was five years old, his family moved to Montana, where he was first stung by the acting bug and was a regular in children's theatre productions. He was raised there until he was in his early teens and later returned to Spain with his family to live in Madrid, where he worked as a Model. While considering enrolling in art school to become a sculptor, Francisco started taking acting lessons in Madrid. He pursued acting opportunities and eventually appeared in various stage, television and feature film productions in Spain.
To further his professional training as an actor, San Martin moved to Los Angeles in 2010, and studied with The Acting Corps. He currently studies with Sal Landi at The Actorhood Theatre Company. From a one-day appearance on "Days of our Lives," San Martin came to the attention of the producers which led to a series regular role.

Armand Douglas "Armie" Hammer (born August 28, 1986) is an American film and television actor featured in the film The Social Network.
Clint Eastwood is currently developing a film on the controversial life of J. Edgar Hoover -which is set to star Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role - and The Social Network's Armie Hammer has just been cast as his GAY love interest!
According to reports, Hammer will play Clyde Tolson, the Associate Director of the FBI, which was founded by Hoover in 1935. Although it's never been proven, many have speculated that the two men were romantically involved.

Hammer was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Dru Ann (née Mobley) and businessman Michael Armand Hammer. His father owns several businesses, including Knoedler Publishing and Hammer Productions (a film/television production company). His great-grandfather was oil tycoon and philanthropist Armand Hammer, who was of Russian Jewish descent. Hammer was raised on the Westside of Los Angeles and the Cayman Islands. As a child, he also lived in Highland Park, a town in Dallas, for several years. He attended Faulkner's Academy in Governor's Harbour, Cayman, Grace Christian Academy in the Cayman Islands (a school founded by his father), and then later went to LA Baptist High School in the San Fernando Valley. He later attended Pasadena City College in Pasadena, California and went on to transfer to the University of California, Los Angeles where he then dropped out to pursue a career in acting.
